Hello, my name's Andy, and I'm a Craniosacral Therapist based in Basingstoke. Since 2024, I have been registered with the Craniosacral Therapy Association (CSTA) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), and I'm covered by Holistic Insurance Services.
What exactly is Craniosacral Therapy (CST)?
CST is a gentle, hands-on healing modality that employs light touch without any force or manipulation. It promotes body and mind relaxation, helping your nervous system to unwind, calming your mind, and alleviating stress and tension. This therapy also releases restrictions and blockages in the joints, muscles, organs, fascia, and tissues.
By encouraging deep rest and improving the circulation of blood, lymph, and cerebrospinal fluid, CST helps you feel more grounded and present in your body, enhances clarity of thought, and restores harmony and energy to your life. With a strong focus on safety and a non-invasive approach, this holistic health practice is suitable for everyone—babies, children, adults, and the elderly.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) can support body and mind relaxation while addressing a variety of ailments and conditions, including:
- Headaches/Migraine
- Anxiety and/or Depression
- Burnout/Overwhelm
- Chronic Fatigue and low energy
- Fibromyalgia
- Tinnitus and TMJ/Jaw issues
- Sciatica and back/neck pain
- Recovery after surgery/injury/illness
- IBS and digestive problems
- PTSD/developmental trauma
- ADHD
I offer a trauma-sensitive and intuitive approach to holistic health. Effective Craniosacral Therapy requires stillness, slowness, a felt sense of safety, and sensitivity to what the client's body is needing. This facilitates a gradual letting-go of any resistance, enabling profound levels of healing and integration.
Distant Healing
In addition to in-person CST, I also offer Distant Healing based on my training in Distant Cranio-Sacral Integration (DCSI). This enables me to offer support to anyone who can't physically come to see me.

The initial session lasts for approximately 75 minutes and takes the form of a consultation followed by an introductory treatment. This provides an excellent opportunity for us to get to know one another, while you experience a taste of Craniosacral Therapy and how I work. I typically ask clients to lie down fully clothed on their backs on the treatment couch, where pillows and blankets are provided for extra comfort. I will guide you to slowly relax and ensure that you're appropriately settled and ready before initiating any contact. Special attention is given to your sense of safety, as promoting both body and mind relaxation is essential. It’s important to always proceed at your nervous system's pace, and although I primarily work in silence, I like to check in with you throughout the session to ensure your comfort.
After the session, we’ll chat about your experience, and if you’re happy, we can book a follow-up and/or devise a suitable treatment plan moving forward. Follow-up sessions each last 60 minutes, and you can choose to book a block of 3 or 6 sessions in advance.
Please reach out if you’d like to know more or if you’re unsure whether Craniosacral Therapy aligns with your holistic health goals.
